Question 1

How does happn decide which profiles to show me?

Accepted Answer

When you cross paths with another happn user in real life, their profile appears in the app. You can then secretly like the profile; the other person will only know if they like you back, which creates a Crush and opens a chat.

Question 2

Can other members see where I am at any moment?

Accepted Answer

Your exact location remains invisible to other members. Only crossing points are indicated, and you decide who can see you and what information you share. You will not receive messages from people you are not interested in.

Question 3

What is a SuperCrush and how does it differ from a regular like?

Accepted Answer

A SuperCrush lets you stand out by catching someone's attention more directly than a secret like. With a happn Premium subscription you can enjoy more SuperCrushs and access the list of people who have already liked you.

Question 4

What are CrushTime, Teasers, and Hobbies used for?

Accepted Answer

CrushTime is a game in which you try to guess who has already liked you. Teasers and Hobbies also let you uncover the personality of your Crushes through short glimpses of fun and genuine life moments.

Question 5

Accepted Answer

Yes, the app is free to download and start using. You can set filters, add photos, and use core features for free. Additional benefits are available through an optional happn Premium subscription, and the app contains ads and in-app purchases.
