Question 1

How does the new 'Drops' feature work and what makes it different from a regular price alert?

Accepted Answer

Drops is an app-exclusive feature that scans billions of travel prices every day to find flight price drops of at least 20% to destinations worldwide. You simply set your departure airport, and the app presents the latest deals from that airport. Unlike a price alert, which notifies you when a specific flight you've searched changes price, Drops proactively surfaces the best drops without you having to search first.

Question 2

Can I use the app to find cheap flights to multiple destinations at once, and are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 'Everywhere' search feature lets you see low-cost flight options to various destinations around the world, helping you find inspiration for your next trip. The app does not charge any booking fees on flights, hotels, or cars, and there are no hidden charges—you book directly with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies.

Question 3

What kind of filters are available for flight searches, and can I also filter car rentals?

Accepted Answer

For flights, you can filter by duration, airline, number of stops, travel class, and departure and arrival times. For car rentals, you can filter by vehicle type, fuel type, and features. The app also includes a Fair Fuel Policy flag to help you avoid overpaying on fuel.

Question 4

Does the app provide any tools to help me choose the best time to book a flight?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the calendar view shows the cheapest dates within a month, and you can set up Price Alerts to be notified when the price of a flight you're interested in changes. This helps you book at the right time for the best price.

Question 5

Can I save flights and hotels to view later, and what happens to them?

Accepted Answer

There is a 'saved' feature where you can 'heart' flights or hotels you like. These saved items appear on your trips list, allowing you to pick up where you left off and book when you're ready.

Question 6

Which airlines and booking providers can I compare in the app?

Accepted Answer

The app lets you compare prices across multiple airlines and online travel agencies, including Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, JetBlue, Frontier Airlines, Delta, Ctrip, Expedia, Kiwi.com, Trip.com, Agoda, and booking.com, among others. You can also see recent reviews of these travel partners from the community.
